STAYING HEALTHY, THE EPILEPTIC WAY

I have been battling seizures for many years. I want to share my story and help others live better everyday.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE*

*in the lives of the sick or in need.

Having an idea of something that has not been done yet, but you may think could work, like a work in progress that has a potential for great things to come.

Putting yourself out there, even if out there does not exist for you at the time, can still give you more time at hand to keep pushing and trying new things without driving yourself mad in the process of failure.

Failure comes first, and then second, and then third until we find what is not for the people you are trying to heal by making a difference.

"My main purpose in life is to make enough money to create ever more inventions…

The dove is my emblem…

I want to save and advance human life,

not destroy it…

I am proud of the fact that I have never invented weapons to kill…

I never perfected an invention that I did not think about in terms of the service it might give others…

I find out what the world needs, then I proceed to invent...

My principle business consists of giving commercial value to the brilliant,

 but misdirected, ideas of others…

Accordingly, I never pick up an item without thinking of how I might improve it".

These are just a few words from Thomas Edison,

As a boy he was plagued with fundamental learning disabilities that went well beyond mere deafness, such as cognition, speech, grammar, etc.

For the first four years of his life he never spoke a word, but when he finally began to, the word that his parents heard was

"WHY?"

He understood by watching and reading and wanted to know how to fix it, and knew he could. He read every book in his public library, his favorite being:

Isaac Newton who once wrote that:

“Truth is ever to be found in simplicity,

and not the multiplicity and confusion of things”,

“To explain all nature is too difficult a task for any one man or even for any one age.

Tis much better to do a little with certainty and leave the rest for others that come after,

then to explain all things by conjecture without making sure of anything”.

“Plato is my friend, Aristotle is my friend, but my greatest friend is truth”.

Albert Einstein said many things as well, but I chose these, to my story of how to do good for others who do good for you:

“A person who never made a mistake

 never tried anything new.”

“Logic will get you from A to B.

Imagination will take you everywhere.”

AND -

“I have never looked upon ease and happiness as ends in themselves --

This critical basis I call the ideal of a pigsty.

The ideals that have lightened my way,

and time after time have given me new courage

to face life cheerfully, have beenKindness, Beauty, and Truth.”

Anybody can be a genius, and with the right mind-set of ideas and possible accomplishments, there is no end as there are stars in the sky.

So, start
MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
